Chief Science Officer

Dr. Jennifer C. Jenkins is Chief Science Officer at Rubicon Carbon, where she oversees the overall quality and integrity of Rubicon’s carbon credit investments, products, and portfolios.

With a Ph.D. in Ecosystem Science (University of New Hampshire), Master of Forest Science (Yale University), MBA (University of Maryland), and BA (Dartmouth College), she brings over 30 years of experience in climate science and policy across academia, government, and the private sector.

A noted expert in carbon cycling and ecosystem science, she was a co-recipient of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize as part of the IPCC team and previously held leadership roles at NCX and Enviva.
